Was feeling a little pent up a few weeks back so I wrote a poem! Hope you like!
Barefoot
Feeling nostalgic tonight
Wish I was free
Not so uptight
Not so chained by the everyday
Wish I could relax
Wish I could dream
And float with the wind
No rules
Freedom to breathe
Where I can hear my thoughts
And listen
Take time
No plans
No responsibilities
Smelling the breeze,
Feeling the air
Swirl my skirt
Release my arms
Barefoot
Free.
